What is Project Graduation?

Project Graduation was created to provide high school graduates with a secure, safe, alcohol-free and drug-free environment to celebrate their graduation night.

It is typically an all-night event that includes a variety of activities, food, and prizes, with the goal of reducing the risk of accidents and fatalities associated with substance use on graduation night. These events are often organized by schools, parents, and community organizations.

Why Local High Schools Choose to Celebrate Project Grad at Poppy Bank Epicenter.

A lot of work goes into the planning and execution of a Project Grad event. This work load typically falls on teachers, parents, and community volunteers who already have a lot on their plate. Keeping 100+ freshly graduated students engaged and entertained throughout an entire night is a tall task.

Our facility has the infrastructure and our staff has the experience to host events for up to 1,500 people. We are easily able to accommodate the needs of our local high schools while saving them money, time, and stress.

Poppy Bank Epicenter hosted its first Project Grad in 2021. That year we hosted a total of four high schools. This year that number has jumped to a total of 12 high schools, including St. Vincent de Paul, Cardinal Newman, Analy, Montgomery, Healdsburg, Tomales, Terra Linda, Piner, Elsie Allen, San Marin, Novato, and Kelseyville high schools.

"It's very fulfilling to host our local high school graduates in our facility and provide an experience they are genuinely excited about." expressed Andrew Kilsheimer, Poppy Bank Epicenter's Director of Operations.

Teachers and parents are able to let out a sigh of relief as the pressure of planning such a big event is alleviated by the help of our team.

Non-Stop Fun All Night Long.

Our local high school graduates had the facility to themselves during their Project Grad celebration. They had the chance to experience exclusive access to Game-On Arcade, Chuck's Bowling, Sports City and Sky Zone Trampoline Park.

The graduating classes had a blast inside of Game-On Arcade, where they had access to over 100 arcade games including new arrivals and classic favorites. They also got to experience our two story Delta Strike Laser Tag, four player Omni Virtual Reality, and the seven dimensional XD Dark Ride. Our party suites located inside of the arcade transformed into craft stations, chill out zones, a barbershop and more!

Inside Chuck's, graduates filled our 16 bowling lanes as they celebrated strikes with smiles and high fives. They also had the opportunity to try their luck at table top games like blackjack and roulette. At the end of the night they were able to trade in their chips for awesome prizes!

Food was catered by our very own Victory House restaurant which consisted of pizza, cheeseburger sliders, quesadillas, chicken strips, fruit, veggies and more. The second round of food featured delicious pastries and hardy breakfast burritos as the night turned into morning.

A lot of the freshly graduated students were overflowing with energy and eager to get inside of Sky Zone trampoline park. They quickly kicked off their shoes and threw on bright orange jump socks so that they could participate in all of the fun. Sky Zone features a dodgeball arena, basketball hoops, an inflatable stunt bag, and an open jump area, all of which were full of energetic participants.

Sports City was another hot spot for those who wanted to burn off energy during their celebration. Our three state of the art indoor turf fields were used for soccer, flag football, and the hilarious inflatable bumper balls. Our basketball courts were also available for basketball and volleyball throughout the night.

As I walked throughout the facility during the event I witnessed genuine laughs and smiles as graduates moved from activity to activity. They were having so much fun, part of me wished I could join them in a game of pick-up basketball or soccer. If only Poppy Bank Epicenter was around when I graduated high school!

Congratulations Graduating Classes of 2024!
